Now, I do disagree with women having multiple abortions and being careless and ignorant about birth control, but accidents do happen and not every women who gets an abortion was being irresponsible. It is possible to get pregnant on the pill or even when using a condom. No method of birth control is 100% effective.
As for adoption, the physical and mental turmoil from 9 months of pregnancy and giving birth is no piece of cake to deal with and is something a man will never experience, therefore does not and will not ever completely understand the importance of having the right to abortion. Not every woman wants, or is even able to go through this long, difficult process.
This brings me to the statement "human life is precious from conception until natural death." If this were true, abortions could be comparable to soldiers being sent off to war. Inevitably, there will be many who die, yet our government sends them anyway with little regard to their lives. Why is this life not considered precious but an undeveloped bundle of cells is?
